School Nurse. Team Physician. Battlefield Medic.

The Future of Workplace Healthcare is 'Retro American Care'.

Picture where we have been...

The School Nurse.     The Team Physician.    The Battlefield Medic.

Can you picture them?  Do you 'feel' that sense of going back to a safer time?

America has traditionally set up 'first response' care scenarios that allow for early intervention and triage of a wound, injury or medical situation. We trusted someone to 'be there'.  We knew we could walk down the hall, or call out, in need to a medical professional who cared.

Most generally we felt 'safe' and knew we are being cared for by leaders of the school, team or uniform we were wearing. That 'care' was nearby. That a medical professional  were going to look us over quickly.  That our safety, injury and well-being was immediately thought of.

Clearly, in business today, it appears that that level of caring, almost 'retro-like' is re-emerging.
If you don't see it yet.  You will.  I'd love to share some success stories with you.

Over 80,000+ client locations across America trust MEDCOR to 'be there' when a medical need arises. The well-being of employees is the first and most important item on our clipboard.

Business leaders, company owners, regional managers of organizations and immediate supervisors face three key areas of their roles when it comes to a medical incident.
  1. Foremost, The Care, Well-Being & Outcomes for their Employee / Team Member
  2. A Quick Response, Proper Management & Administration of the Incident
  3. The Time, Productivity and Cost Impact of An Injury or Incident
The importance of these areas in our ever-challenging era of healthcare management can be critical to the short and long-term success of an operation.  Also Employee Engagement and Satisfaction, Safety, Risk Management and Compliance come into play in a big way. People who manage these areas potentially have their jobs on the line.  With the possibility for disruption of the workplace productivity, workers' compensation outcomes, compliance violations and the ever growing cost of healthcare, HOW YOU HANDLE AN INCIDENT UPFRONT (in the first few hours) becomes the key to your employees well-being and your business success.

MEDCOR CONTINUES TO HOLD A STRONG LEADERSHIP ROLE IN THESE AREAS.

MEDCOR has been serving business since 1984 with onsite clinics, providing immediate response to workplace injuries, assessing wounds, pain and all potential medical scenarios that arise at a worksite.  Along the way, wellness programs, safety programs, risk management assistance, drug testing and even vaccinations have been administered and provided by MEDCOR.

MEDCOR has been in the Telephonic Triage business since 1998. Over 14 years of medical experience handling incidents over the telephone via exceptionally trained professionals (Medcor has over 80 full-time telephonic triage medical pros) and 'Award-Winning' Software that is in it's sixth generation of improved releases.  PLUS...MEDCOR is honored to hold a URAC Accreditation.

Medcor serves clients in all 50 states and beyond.  I an honored to specifically represent Medcor in the states of Missouri and Kansas.  Click below on the image to learn more & contact me.

Healthcare in Missouri This Morning...

Somewhere in Missouri
                   this very morning...
A CFO is pondering...
                  health care costs.

Whether in Missouri, Kansas, California, Florida or wherever...business owners, board members, stockholders and company leadership are faced with this ongoing dilemma and question...

'How do we keep health care costs down,
improve our outcomes with workers' comp and claims...
and still serve and provide the best of care for our employees?'

The economic engine of the economy, the small to mid-sized business person, who has employed, met payroll and kept the economy rolling, clearly doesn't have a room full of accountants and HR people figuring the next steps in healthcare out. These business leaders, and their employees, are the ones we need to consider and serve.

Healthcare and insurance is the 'elephant in the room' that will not be going away.  American business cannot wait. We cannot wait to see what happens.  Or what Washington does.  Or who gets elected.  We must act.

If 60%+ of your injuries or 'first medical attention' could be done 'pre-claim', would that be good?
If you could cut your medical claims by 40%... would that make a difference in your business?
If workers' compensation could be looked at in a different way and cut by 30+% would that add up?

Could employee productivity rise due to time savings & feeling they're cared about in a new way?

Now is the time, this is the day to discover what are ways that businesses and organizations can not just 'provide group health' but 'extend real interest in employee lives, family and wellness'.

We've all seen the national surveys that say '62% of employees are not happy in their job'. Perhaps they'd like to see an employer step up and care about their well-being in new and unique ways.

MEDCOR can help you do that.  Via On-Site Clinics or Telephonic Injury Triage, both featuring trained medical professionals.   In our On-site Clinics we even assist your organization with Wellness, Safety and Risk Management.  For a fixed cost.  No per incident.  Fixed.   And we can even care for employee dependants.

Consider this.  If you could give something to your employees of value that shows you're caring for their well-being... AND... in that perhaps save time and money, would that be worth exploring.  Click on the picture below for more information.
